Teragren's traditional bamboo benchtop / countertop is perfect for kitchen applications because it is naturally bacteria-resistant and durable — 25% harder than red oak — and the mineral oil finish and polyurethane finish options are food-safe. The traditional bamboo face with contrasting strand bamboo core provides a beautiful visual accent to any kitchen or bathroom design or other interior application.
Choose Natural with a contrasting Wheat strand core or Caramelized with a contrasting Chestnut core. Also available unfinished by special order.

Because bamboo is a natural fiber, colour variation occurs within the strands of each individual benchtop, countertop and table top, as well as from one benchtop, countertop and table top to the next.

Food-safe mineral oil/beeswax finish; best for benchtops / countertops intended to be used as cutting surfaces Food-safe polyurethane finish; best for benchtops, countertops or table tops not intended to be used as cutting surfaces Occasional re-application of mineral oil/beeswax finish is advised after repeated washings to prevent moisture loss; Reapplication during the first year is recommended monthly, sometimes more frequently, depending on site conditions.
