Synergy™ strand bamboo with Xcora™ technology is high-traffic flooring that is 154 percent harder than red oak and 126 percent harder than North American maple. And now it is available in a wide-plank floating floor option with the Välinge-patented, glueless, self-locking system that allows the flooring to be installed with underlayment on, above or below grade. The wider, longer, square-edged planks install quickly and complement a variety of décor styles from traditional to contemporary in settings from artists' lofts to large meeting rooms to three-bedroom ramblers. New patents-pending construction employs a cross-ply bamboo fiber core to ensure that the flooring remains flat and the locking system profile strong and stable. A hidden benefit: the recommended underlayment also creates an acoustic barrier, making Synergy™ floating floor ideal for offices or high-rise condominiums, as well as homes.

Synergy™ wide-plank floating floor with Xcora is manufactured with state-of-the-art hot press equipment, proprietary formulas, and our exclusive process. Bamboo fibers are fused with an environmentally safe adhesive under extreme pressure to form homogenous, high-density panels that are cut and milled into the wear layer. As a result, Synergy™ floating floor with Xcora offers hardness, durability and stability that are perfect for high-traffic areas in both residential and commercial settings.

Synergy™ floating floor is available in four distinctive strand blends— Wheat (natural), Chestnut (caramelized), Java (light and dark caramelized strands) and new Brindle, a beautiful blend of natural and caramelized strands.

The 7-coat German finish includes a wear layer of abrasion-resistant aluminum oxide, plus two scratch-resistant, polyurethane topcoats that protect the bamboo fiber's natural strength and beauty. Its finish is water-based and solvent-free, and its adhesives emit substantially less formaldehyde than is present in ambient air. Synergy is also FloorScore®-certified, one of the most rigorous air quality standards in the world. FloorScore® ensures the quality of indoor air for high performance schools and offices and meets stringent standards for 78 volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
